Farmacy Green Beauty PR Haul (Review/Overview)
Can you believe it’s almost August?! Where has the Summer gone? Although I bite my lips with the answers that question might yield since the world has been in quite the whirlwind lately. Anyhow, today I have FARMacy Green beauty items to share with you #Jeaniez today! The products were given to me as a PR package, thus this blog is sponsored, HOWEVER, they didn’t pay me, nor ask me for a review, so my thoughts on each product are solid.
I received my FARMacy items two days ago, but since I had a Proactiv charity event yesterday, I felt trying a new product would be a BIG no-no. What if I broke out? This is why I tested things out tonight. Know this blog will be updated at some point with my long-term experiences!
What Is FARMACY?
Farmacy is farm to science. “Locally Grown, Locally Produced”. They’re cruelty-free, which is amazing, and their products are paraben free, formaldehyde donor free, phthalate free, mineral oil free, and synthetic fragrance-free! Basically, they’re a naturally-derived skin care line, that is perfect for those concerned about WHAT is being placed in their products, and happen to have sensitive skin! You can see more about their story here: https://www.farmacybeauty.com/pages/our-story
Cleanse ME: Clean Bee
I am going to start with the cleanser and work my way down to the masks, and then to the lip balm! Farmacy has a few cleansers, but the one they sent was their “Clean Bee” Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser. This actually was the best choice for me since I hive out VERY easily in itchy bumps! The product is formulated with coconut, hyaluronic acid, echinacea GreenEnvy honey (Farmacy’s secret ingredient), and botanical blends of chamomile, aloe, calendula, licorice root, as well as turmeric. All of these work together to reduce redness on the skin, add hydration, and wash away surface oils/residues (see below for copy and paste ingredients list).
Water/Aqua/Eau, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Water, Decyl Glucoside, Maltooligosyl Glucoside, Lauryl Glucoside, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Echinacea Purpurea Root Extract, Honey Extract, Propolis Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Curcumin, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Betalne, Sodium Pca, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Abies Sibirica Oil, Cymbopogon Martini Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Oil, Pogostemon Cablin Oil, Caramel, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil, Ocimum Basilicum (Basil) Flower/Leaf Extract, Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Flavor (Aroma)*, Potassium Sorbate, Maltodextrin, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Phytate, Propanediol, Linalool (*Natural Flavor / Arome Naturel)
Coming home from the Proactiv event, I was TIRED. I spent all night so excited that I hardly slept, I also felt sick from it being humid outside! Since when I come home I ALWAYS remove my makeup, I thought using the cleanser would be the perfect opportunity for trying out my goodies! Here is what I noticed. The product comes in a plastic bottle, with 150 ml of product to spare! The color is yellow in hue, but once underwater, it foams up quick. As soon as I rubbed my hands together, and started massaging the product into my skin, I smelled the botanical ingredients, especially chamomile strongest, and my skin, once I washed the cleanser off didn’t feel dry, but didn’t feel oily! It gave me the PURRFECT balance. The cool part is this $20.00 product only needed half a pump for my ENTIRE face! This is LILLEE APPROVED since thus far I have no breakouts, which I normally hive out hours after (instead of pimples, which I get sometimes, I mainly get hives which are raised, and sometimes don’t contain puss).
It’s mask time! FARMacy sent me three masks, including their Green Clean cleansing balm, which can be worn like a mask too since it’s SUPER hydrating. Let’s start with the Bright On Vitamin C mask which most intrigued me! This mask is SO FREAKING COOL! When you squeeze out the product onto your hand, it first looks like lavender clay, but as you massage the product into your face, vitamin C capsules burst open, and the lavender turns to clay green. Personally, and aesthetically, I gasped because I wasn’t expecting that, but I thought about how COOL and effective it was! This is formulated with aloe, fruit-derived AHA’s which resurface skin (poreless), and of course vitamin c, kaolin, and superfood blends including apple, kale, blueberry etc. I left the mask on for 5 minutes, and as it hardened I could feel a cooling sensation coming over my face! Not to mention it smells CLEAN, and not synthetic. After 5 minutes, I washed it off with warm water, and could see how CLEAN, and refreshed my face looked! The product is safe enough to use 2-3 times a week, which is great because of this queenie LIKES!

I love gel masks. Flat out. I use the ones by 100% Pure, and they not only contour my face perfectly, but my skin looks GREAT after each use. Tonight, I decided to try Farmacy’s Hydrating Coconut Gel Sheet Mask, leaving the brightening one for another day, since I can only try so many masks in one day, hehe! The hydrating mask is filled with hyaluronic acid, cucumber extract, and coconut water! I left it on my face for 15 minutes and enjoyed the natural aroma, as I closed my eyes, and rested for the time being. Upon removal, this $5.00 wonder made my skin dewy, and hydrated, not oily AT ALL! In fact, the excess serum pretty much dissolved into my skin no problem.
Green Clean Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm is one of Faramacy’s most notable products! This balm is supposed to melt away makeup 123, with organic ingredients. What better way to use it, then after 6 hours at an event? I warmed the product between my fingertips and focused on my eye area specifically with circular and side to side motions. The formula VERY easily melts, and literally broke down my mascara in under 50 seconds, without rough tugging, and pulling! Once I washed the formula off, it turned into a milky substance and left me GLOWING. This isn’t far-fetched, however, since it is formulated with sunflower oil, ginger root oil, orange peel oil, and even lime oil, all hydrating antioxidants.
Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Peg-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Peg-10 Isostearate, Polyethylene, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Amino Esters-1, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Amber Powder, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Solanum Melongena (Eggplant) Fruit Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Water/ Aqua/ Eau, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Echinacea Purpurea Root Extract, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Moringa Pterygosperma Seed Extract, Disodium Phosphate, Citric Acid
Farmacy sent me their Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm, lastly, in the PR package! This is 100% natural, with a blend of honey, coconut oil, cocoa butter, and cupuaçu butter. Basically, it’s nourishing, and hydrating for your lips! Now, this retails for $10.00 — how does this COMPARE to Burts Bees you might ask? Well, Burts Bees contains LANOLIN, soybean oils, some coconut oil, but it isn’t nearly as packed with antioxidants, or moisturizers. I actually read a few reviews on Farmacy’s website where people were saying it cured their chapped lips, like no other. I am fortunate that I don’t have chapped lips, but I DO KNOW that it’s always good to moisturize every part of your body. Your skin is like a big organ! Whatever you put on it, will absorb.
